IdleOS: Reimagining the mobile interface to foster human flourishing
Theodor Haugen
IdleOS is a hypothetical mobile operating system. It questions how our current devices treat attention, time, and intent. Being present might feel more like a cliché than a choice these days, but as someone who’s often felt more controlled by my phone than in control of it, I set out on a hypothetical journey to reimagine the mobile OS. Inspired by calm technology, ambient interaction, and progressive disclosure, IdleOS aims to help both you and I be more attuned to what truly matters in life.
